A daily paper read by 3 millions readers.(Austrias population is 8 Millions)These letters are ridiculous hymns to the EU and most people just laugh about it. Strange as it may be, but I have an inkling, that some of these politicians BELIEVE what they write. They even talk about "our homeland Europe". My goodness me: we have our special homecountries we do not need such an opaque thing as a european homeland. Well, but since they have the money (our taxmoney, mind you!) they can bribe whome ever they want. The media is always in need of money.So? Most people do not think for themselves and therefore I fear that the Irish will say YES this time. What a dire mess we all are in. The only hope is that this EU will fall apart just as did the "Völkerbund" which was founded after world war I.Than Democracy will rear its head again.Lets hope.
